We put off replacing the cottage deck for a few years now, so we decided to do it this summer. Ripping it off was quick and easy, but replacing it took 3 days of hard work. Now, we can sit back and enjoy.

Resawing Cherry logs on the bandsaw. A dead Cherry tree at the neighbour"s was cut down and I received some of the logs. I'll resaw them, dry them, store them, and use them in future projects.

Can you give me some insight on how large the fan diameter needs to be? I guess the more moving parts then the larger the fan diameter.
In my own experience, fan size does determine how much movement your twist rod can handle. My simple build would only function if I gave it a nudge. Once I used larger fan blades, it operated without my assistance.
Hi Pete I also really like your windmill design didnt know if you had any drawings or anything to help me thank you
Does it cost to subscribe
it needs a pump rod and make as a real pump jack and you get free oil/gas or water
Thanks for sharing this informative video Pete how do I get the plans for washer woman? Can’t find your email address..
Very nice ! What type of paint will you use ?
Nice ! What type of wood did you make the blades out of ?
I heard very good opinions about the Woodprix plans.

HOW IS THE BLADE ATTACHED TO THE WIRE AND WHAT GAUGE WIRE IS USED?
Pete boa noite, trabalho muito bom, parabéns ! 👍👍👍
That is a really nice windmill and your video is awesome! If you still have plans, I sure would love a copy. I've never done mortise but it sure looks good with the curve in the wings!! Be a great winter project!
Greetings from Australia...You made the windmill out of plywood ...and I was wondering how it has stood up to the weather for 5 yrs ...has any delamination taken place ??? if not ..what did you paint it with ?? at the moment I am collecting info before I start and I don't want to waste all my effort so if you can help me that would be great thankyou .
I have made one or two things for outside out of plywood and put loads of paint on them and they all delaminate do you have any idea how to stop it please . Thanks from Australia .
Really love your videos. Still would be nice to see how you made the sails.
Mano o moinho é fácil so tem uma parte difícil o telhado
This reminds me of skerries mills
Thanks for sharing Pete Van !!! Beautiful woodwork. Could you send me a PDF with the templates? Thank you. My e-mail is luis.sambrotta@gmail.com
Where can I get the sails dimensions. Or plans for the hole thing. Thanks.

Hallo Pete, deine Arbeit gefällt mir sehr. Besonders das Flügel Werk des Holländers ist dir gut gelungen. Mach weiter so Glück Zu ! Freester Mühlen Modellbau
You need a counter roller with a spring to keep tension on your belt.
Idler pulley.
Hallo Pete, das gefällt mir sehr was du da machst. Wir haben beide das selbe Hobby. Mach weiter so.
Genius
Looking good!
Beautiful
Super windmill !!! :)
Cutting a log into boards is not resawing. Cutting a board that was first cut from a log is resawing.
Sapperdeflap........... mooi gedaan!!!! (Zijn er toevallig plannen beschikbaar?)
These sleds are a waste of time and impractical. Just use a draw knife and a hand plane to get a flat surface to start from. And you won't need to drill holes in your log either.
Very Nice. I will try to make one.
